Hello, my name is Tracey Brennan and I am a Parenting Therapist with a Post- Graduate Diploma in Parenting Therapy from Exeter University.
I am qualified in delivering Incredible Years and HNC Parenting programmes as well as 1:1 interventions.
I work closely with parents/carers and offer guidance and support to help parents problem solve and develop strategies that will enhance and increase their positive relationship with their child.
I have had the privilege of interviewing some really interesting people about a diverse range of subjects over the past few months for South West Family Values Podcasts.
My first podcast was with Ann Penwell, from the organisation Checkpoint, who offered our parent listeners advice on how to identify and support young people who have experienced, or may be vulnerable to, child sexual exploitation.
My second podcast was with Mark Kime one of our Parenting Therapists. We explored the Teen triple P parenting programme and how effective this can be in supporting our parents with the highs and lows of parenting teenagers.
My most recent podcast was with Rob, an ex-serviceman struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, who shared his experiences of parenting with PTSD, and the struggles he had trying to reintegrate back into civilian and family life after leaving the army.
All the above podcasts are available for you to download and listen to and share!!
Future podcasts are currently being produced, if you would like to take part in one of our podcasts please contact us through our website.
